Juan Carlos Rubke is now accepting new guitar students at Pro Music! He has been playing guitar for over 20 years .He started learning at the young age of 12 by learning Spanish classical guitar as his first introduction to music. Eventually he got into Brazilian jazz, gypsy jazz, flamenco, and other world music styles. His main influences were Paco De Lucia, Francisco Tarrega, Andres Segovia , and Baden Powell. After he started to develop a style, he eventually got into the electric guitar, and studied a lot of jazz and rock influences; Al Di Meola, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, and Yngwie Malmsteen to name a few. He was born in Fairbanks and raised in North Pole, where he currently resides. Music has been a huge part of his life, and regularly does performances around town and also hosts a few open mics from time to time.
