The feed hopper, belly pan and drum end caps are constructed out of a bulletproof Polyethylene Cross link plastic incorporating designs you can only get out of a mold. Keene put a lot of thought and testing before we built these molds and everything works flawlessly. Keene fabricated the drum out of aluminum punch plate with replaceable drums with a variety of sizes (such as 3/8” ¼” and ½”) for different applications. Keene has unique flipper bars that can be modified and even removed for different materials. The 5 adjustable articulating legs allow the machine to be set up in the most adverse conditions in just a few minutes also fine tuning only takes seconds. The sluice box can run out either side making it faster and easier to set up, plus you have a perfect view to watch the sluice box load while feeding. We recommend the KT10SA sluice box adaptor which attaches to our 10” wide sluice box (A52 or A52S) this makes a longer sluice box with Miracle Matting, expanded metal,1/8th inch classifier and a long rubber mat to smooth out the flow.

Mark Keene’s favorite is the Water driven motor KT10WD. The high-pressure water spins the water motor that drives a planetary gearbox that spins the drum. The high pressure P90GH Provides enough water volume and pressure to spin the water motor and provides more than ample water for the spray bars and feed hopper. Works similar to a high banker away from the water. The KT10 feed hopper sets roughly 2.5 feet above ground making it easier to shovel into and set buckets on the support for a easy controlled feed. The Trommel is a pleasure to work with since the tailings are kicked out 5 feet away keeping you dry.

The new and improved Mini Max Power Sluice Concentrator is the multi-tool of prospecting. We have changed our updated machine from a double pump system to one single, larger pump. The new pump provides not only greater water flow and higher head lift but also a larger diameter pressure hose which creates a higher flow than the double pump system. We’ve also doubled the hose length to 8 feet, added a new ball valve for precise flow control and a screw on connector that requires no tools.

Whether you are working river banks, desert placer’s or just cleaning concentrates for larger dredges and equipment, the Mini Max is a prospecting tool that will always be part of your arsenal. This multi purpose package includes a removable mat for the lower sluice box, converting it to a professional clean up machine simly by sliding out the green rubber riffle and replacing it with Miracle Matting. It is also supplied with an additional finer woven mesh screen on the top hopper for using it as a concentrating system. Another new improvement is that the Mini Max is powered by a single 2200 GPH, 12 volt pump made proudly in the U.S.A. The top hopper is equipped with a flood header that provides smooth water flow through the trough, over a slick plate and in to a 6 inch section of miracle mat that gives you a preview to any captured gold! The top sluice lifts off easily so you can inspect the lower sluice, eliminating the need for cleaning. The material is then washed over a removable classifier grizzly screen, removing the oversized waste gravel. The bottom sluice box is lined with our green rubber riffle that recovers ultra fine gold and can handle larger volumes of material. When used as a concentrating system, the lower sluice is partially covered by oversized expanded metal. When used as a power sluice you can expect a capacity of up to a quarter of a yard per hour and about a third of its capacity when used as a concentrating machine. This Mini Max can also be operated by a small, single gas powered pump such as our P90G Pump Kit. This device is ideal for back packing given it folds up into a compact size of 36 by 14 by 7 inches and weighs under 23 pounds. The four independent legs fold up with our new pin-lock folding system with large wing nuts that make it a breeze to adjust elevation and articulation. Thw Mini Max also includes a mountable flare for use as a hand sluice.

This amazing rock crusher is ideal for the gold prospector interested in a light-weight and economical high-speed machine. Material is gravity fed into the hopper and drops into the center of a high-speed tube. The centrifugal force throws the rock into a hardened steel impact wall at speeds in excess of 400 miles per hour. The harder the rock, the easier it shatters into instant powder. If any uncrushable particles are fed into the unit it will automatically pass them without damage or hesitation. All material after crushing then passes automatically into a five-gallon bucket sealed chamber providing a low dust environment. Ideal for crushing all types of quartz, schist, limestone, etc. This new machine is also ideal for crushing black sand concentrates to release any encapsulated micron gold for further processing. Mounted to a vertical 5 horsepower engine, capable of producing up to 100 pounds of grind in just one hour in a single pass. Multiple passes may be desired for finer grinds.
