Up until now, there has always been a compromise between frequency and sensitivity when optimising detector performance, because lower frequencies are more sensitive to larger gold nuggets and higher frequencies are more sensitive to smaller gold nuggets.

When comparing detectors, the three curves in the diagram represent each detector’s ability to find small gold nuggets of a certain size, at a maximum possible depth. Most detectors will find a very large nugget just beneath the surface, however a detector’s sensitivity to gold determines how many smaller nuggets will ultimately be recovered in difficult (noisy) ground at greater depths.

An 18 kHz detector will normally have a depth advantage on nuggets ≥ 1.0g over a basic mid-frequency detector, and a 71 kHz detector will have a depth advantage on nuggets ≤ 0.1g. The advanced GOLD MONSTER 1000 uses an intermediate 45 kHz frequency AND a high speed 24-bit signal processor. This primary combination greatly boosts sensitivity to gold beyond that of other single frequency VLF detectors over a wide range of nugget sizes, without introducing excess noise and false signals.

The PRO‑SONIC wireless audio system generates audio using advanced wireless technology to achieve clear sound with minimal perceivable time delay.

The PRO‑SONIC Receive Module features an internal loudspeaker and a 6.35mm (¼”) headphone socket for use with your choice of headphones. It can be attached to your harness or clothing using the metal belt clip.

The PRO-SONIC Transmit Module sends out low-power (mW) radio waves using the ISM frequency band (2.402 – 2.480Ghz). History of the Pro-Camel

The Pro-Camel 24 Automatic Gold Panning Machine (24″ Spiral Wheel) is the big brother of the Desert Fox Automatic Gold Panning Machine and the largest 12-volt automatic spiral gold panning machine manufactured anywhere. It was introduced to the mining community in 2009 and has received rave reviews since its release and is known as one of the top fine gold recovery systems on the market today.

Features of the Pro-Camel Automatic Gold Panning Machine

The Pro-Camel Automatic Gold Panning Machine uses the same basic technology of gold separation as a traditional gold pan: Water, Motion, & Gravity. Because gold is so much heavier than the other material that it’s found with, it can be easily separated from like sized material.

With a traditional gold pan, you create a slurry of water and material mixing it well to allow the gold to drop down to the bottom of the pan. You then slowly & carefully wash off the lighter material by dipping the edge of the pan in the water.

The same basic principles are being applied with the Pro-Camel, but much faster and more efficiently than panning by hand.

Pro-Camel RunningThe Pro-Camel’s Aqua-Jet provides an ample water supply to the edge and bottom of the spiral wheel to create the slurry needed to allow the gold to separate from the other material. As it does, the gold is scooped up in the 15 spiral riffles and stays there because of the deep “V” design. As the wheel turns, the spray bar rinses the lighter material away allowing the gold to ride up the spirals. When the gold drops into the second stage, any material tagging along for the ride is washed away allowing the clean gold to be deposited through the center hole of the wheel and into the gold catch cup hanging on the back of the machine.

This allows the operator to work in deeper water with most of the advantages found in a conventional gold dredge.

The Honda engine is very quiet, offering nearly twice the fuel economy of the 2-cycle engines, and it eliminates the need to mix gas and oil. Proline’s HP100 pump is manufactured with the same quality and features found on our larger pumps, such as the “flusher port,” which supplies water pressure to run a flusher nozzle for cleaning crevices. The Proline was the first 2″ gold dredge with this feature. Due to recent changes in the pump and jetting system on this dredge, the suction power has dramatically increased. This increase in power led to a new classifier with a riffle system that produces a more effective low pressure vortex behind the riffles themselves, improving fine gold recovery. Proline’s unique one-piece classifier/riffle system simply unlatches and lifts out of the sluice box, which makes for fast and easy cleanups. We still use “Nomad” matting for the entire length of the sluice box.

The pontoons are actually used as part of the frame, eliminating the need for a heavier conventional frame. A rod is supplied for clearing rock jams that occur at the power jet, and actually stays on the dredge when not in use. Through these improvements we were able to shed a few pounds, while making the gold dredge stronger. We suggest that you compare our features and quality with every other small gold dredge on the market. No other 2″ gold dredge compares.

It’s powered by our HP100 pump, which is direct coupled to a Honda GXH50 engine, offering astounding performance in a package that is lighter and quieter than previous models. There are some obvious advantages that come with using this engine: the famous Honda quality, low oil shut off, and the ease of no longer having to worry about those gas and oil mixtures. In addition, the HP100 is the perfect size and operates at the proper RPM to develop peak water volume and pressure required for optimum performance.

The unit is equipped with a large hopper, containing two spraybars, each with two rows of holes to ensure complete washing of dry and/or clay-bound gravel. Threaded caps allow for easy removal of any debris that passes through the pump, and the grizzly is easily removed to simplify cleanups. Fine gold recovery has been improved due to refinements in riffle profile and timing. Our extensive use of Nomad matting and triple classification makes for an unbeatable combination.

The sluice box is bolted to our sturdy stand for additional strength and the legs are easily adjusted for uneven terrain. Many owners of these machines have successfully mounted them to pack frames increasing their portability. There simply isn’t a more advanced dual-purpose unit available anywhere.
